What highlights are

When a story expires, its owner can pin it to their profile inside a named collection: a highlight. Highlights stay until the owner removes them, so they're often the best record of trips, launches, events or products.

Anonymous, like stories

Instagram doesn't show highlight viewers the way it does for live stories, but opening them through us is anonymous anyway: no account of yours is involved and nobody is notified.

Download a whole highlight

After a highlight opens, every frame can be saved on its own, or all of it can be downloaded as one ZIP file named after the account and the highlight's title.
