About Zeroseen

Zeroseen opens a public Instagram profile the way the app shows it: stories, highlights, posts, reels, reposts, tagged photos and the full-size profile picture. Everything can be saved in its original quality, one file at a time or as a ZIP.

It's built for the moments when you'd rather not log in: checking a brand, a venue or a creator, keeping a story before it disappears, or just looking without leaving a name in someone's viewer list.

When you search a username, our server asks for that account's public data and shows it to you. Your Instagram account is never used, so there is nothing for Instagram to put in a viewer list. Media streams from Instagram to your browser; we don't keep copies of what you look at.

The only thing we store is for the optional tracker: if you sign in with your email, you can track up to 10 public accounts. We check them twice a day and keep new stories in a private archive for 30 days.

Private accounts stay private. Their posts and stories only go to approved followers, and no website can change that. Services that promise otherwise usually want your password or payment. We also can't show who viewed a story, or who visited a profile: Instagram doesn't share that with anyone.

Every new lookup costs us a little, so there is a daily fair-use limit per visitor and for the site as a whole. Things that were already loaded recently are served from cache at no cost, so popular profiles stay fast. If you hit the limit, lookups open again the next day.

If it's your account and you don't want it on Zeroseen, ask on the removal page and we'll block it. Switching your account to private hides it here straight away. For anything else, get in touch.
